~Ice Cream and Tear Drops~

The plan was to go to the Disneyland park today, but I had a rough night last night and couldn't fall asleep till about 5:30 a.m. Between M's late night screaming binges and the late night coffee that I shouldn't have, all I did was toss and turn till I physically exhausted myself.
My BFF and sister texted endlessly in the morning to let me know that we were still going to Disneyland, but I didn't get up till about 11:30 a.m. - which took a lot self convincing. By the time I got myself and the kids ready an hour had passed and even then I realized that I couldn't find the passes which would require another hour of searching.
Needless to say, our Disneyland plans were scratched. Instead we opted to hang out with my family at my sister's house. We had no real plans and just let the day play out. But before I got to my sister's place, a police car pulled me over because I had a busted tail light. I couldn't be upset and didn't want to be arrogant, so I accepted the tail light - it could be worse right? I mean it's just a moment in my day!
Shortly after we got to my sister's my mom and Aunt had to leave for a doctor's appointment, so my sister and I packed up the car with the kids and headed out to find a light bulb for my broken tail light and grab a treat with the kids at Cold Stone's Creamery.

I have to say I'm pretty proud of myself. Instead of indulging and cheating on my WW plan, I chose to have a smoothie instead of that yummy cone M is holding right there. It was satisfying and great AND only 4 points! Yummms!

M and D had a great time. We got some gift cards for M's birthday, so I thought it would only be fitting that the boys chose whatever they wanted on their treats, down to what ever was mixed into the ice cream. M had a chocolate sprinkled covered cone with raspberry sorbet with plain M&M's mixed in and marshmallows on top. D had a chocolate sprinkled covered cone with cookies and cream ice cream with gumballs mixed in. Quite the mix, dontcha think? LOL!

Not to fret, you don't think these kids could actually finish those ice cream cones do you? No, no. They actually ended up throwing the cones away after they were done with their very small portions of ice cream.

Afterwards, we decided to head over to the Filipino Video Store. I haven't seen a Filipino movie in about a year and I thought I was about due to watch one with the sissy. While we were there, M announced he had to go potty, but the video store didn't have a restroom so we bolted over to the restaurant about 4 stores down to use the restroom. I thought it was so very cute that whenever M has to use the restroom, he'll pull his pants down and then announce that he has to go. So the moment we got into the restaurant and M saw the sign for the restroom he immediately pulled his pants down in the middle of the dining room and starting running for the bathroom. HAHA!!!

I snagged this cute picture that I'll be including in his scrapbook for his "potty training days," you have to admit, it's pretty darn cute! LOL!

We ended up getting three Filipino movies, but only got through two of them tonight. Gotta say, the drama and complications of love stories in Filipino movies can leave this girl gasping for air. It was pretty fun, mostly hanging with my sister which I haven't done in a very long time. Then crying with her, for reasons other than yelling at each other, ha!

Well, as I said earlier, I didn't get much sleep last night. So I'm gonna try to get some sleep before the clock turns over to a.m.
Night everyone! Hope you had a wonderful day!
