It's Finally Beginning To Feel Like Fall...

Well, I hope you guys remembered to "fall" back an hour today. I LOVE this time of the year... when Daylight Savings ends and I get to sleep in that one extra blissful hour of sleep. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! One cannot appreciate more than a mother... BELIEVE ME!

After that lovely extra hour of sleep, I got up and left to take some pictures of our neighbors kids. I'm not a professional by all means, but I love taking pictures, so when she asked me to do it, I couldn't say no. Meanwhile, J and the boys headed off to the dog park with Lucky and gave that puppy the best day ever. We all got home pretty much at the same time, so while J and the boys headed upstairs to play games and watch movies I caught up on my English readings and last minute research for my paper. I'm a procrastinator I know, but for some reason my writing is so much better when under pressure... GO FIGURE!

Soon after, I headed out to pick up B from his dad's after spending the weekend with he and his wife. The smile on that boy's face after telling me his little dinner date with Manny Pacqiao was priceless. See celebrities? It just takes that few minutes to sit with a fan and take a picture to brighten up his week... Thanks Manny!

We spent the rest of the evening with my sister, Cynthia, and her beautiful daughters. It's been a while since Cynthia and I had some girl talk and I've missed it so much. There's nothing that can compare to having a sweet heart to heart with a really good friend.

Which leads to what I am thankful for today...

I am thankful for great friendships that can survive anything... that can handle truth when it doesn't want to be heard, that can handle silence and reconvene as if time has never passed, for loyalty that is beyond comprehension. I am thankful for you Aliw and Cynthia, for if it weren't for great friends, I'd be an insane and derranged housewife. Love you both!
