Earlier this week we celebrated M's 3rd Birthday at Disneyland. We had originally planned on throwing a birthday party this weekend, but we also got word that we would be moving back home pretty soon. So, we decided to postpone the birthday party until we moved back as we wanted to start making new GREAT memories back home. With just the boys and J and M's God-mother Aliw and her kids we spent the entire day completely dedicated to Matthew.
It was a lot of fun and super stressed free. Thank goodness it wasn't packed, we were able to get on every ride without much of a line (if at all). We ended the night at Boiling Crab - a hot spot in the So. Cal area where we eat seafood to our hearts desire straight off of the wax paper they lay in front of you.
The rest of the week has been simple house cleaning and purging of things we've accumulated in the rental since being away from home. I tell ya! We sure do accumulate a lot of stuff over a 9 month period!
Today, was just relaxation. The boys had a shortened day so we were able to start our weekend a few hours early! Yay! B left to be with his dad and Step mom for the weekend, while J, my sis', and the boys headed out to dinner at Chile's after haircuts. Dinner was great until D fell off of the window pane that I told him to get off of and took down with him the entire menu stand and sugar bowl and salt and pepper... yeah... the reason why I hesitate going out to eat, LOL!

At the end of dinner, I started scrolling down my FB on my iPhone and saw that B's dad posted this on FB!
J and I got really excited for B, I mean... WOW!!! What an opportunity for B! To meet the world renowned champion, Manny Pacquiao. Even through FB we were star strucked! This is definitely one to go into the scrapbooks =D
When we got home, J found the original Toy Story and the younger boys have been glued to the TV with minimum movement. The last I checked they were beyond halfway down lullaby highway. I on the other hand have been on a mission to finish the laundry. HA! Life doesn't change much around here regardless of where we are.
So a lot of my friends have been posting things on their blogs or FB or even twitter throughout this first week of November, giving thanks for whatever on a daily basis. Thought it would be fun so here's mine...
I am thankful today for the opportunity to sit down with my sister, boys, and husband at the same table and at the same time over a great meal that we were blessed to enjoy. Life's obstacles can be insanely discouraging, but as I looked around the table tonight I am so very thankful for my family and for the unconditional love we have for each other.
What are you thankful for today?
