Pool Day

I didn't fall asleep till late last night... yeah, yeah I know what's new right? Anyhow, I had a total of about 5 hours of sleep and though that may seem like a triumphant and victorious event in a house full of boys, it still wasn't enough.

Today was pool day for the kiddies, but before we could get ready for that I knew my house was in serious need of some tender loving care. So I sped cleaned and straighten up a bit before Cynthia and her girls headed over for a little lunch and playtime before heading out to the pool.

The kids and dads had a great time in the pool, while we mommies went gaga over Baby Aeon. Seriously, can't get enough of her - she's ADORABLE!

It was actually a beautiful day here in the valley, though sunny and in the high 90's there was a nice breeze coming in so we barely felt any of the heat =D We stayed for a few hours and chatted beneath the shade and had a great time.

The kids were extremely tired by the time we got home and Matthew snuck in a little nap before dinner. I wasn't up for cooking tonight so we decided to pick up some In N' Out - Yummos! We didn't do much for the rest of the day, which was nice - given, we've been going non stop this entire summer. Now that it's coming to a close, I realized that I haven't taken advantage of some quiet down time. So I've decided that it was time to enjoy the summer with only one theme in mind... RELAXATION.

Nothing wrong with that right?
